Lvl20 is the start, not the end, of GW. It's not like the other MMO's out there, in that regard, and requires a different mind set. Getting to lvl 20 isn't the goal, its getting the skills you need to want to beat the game. (And why Ursan, to many, is a curse and not a blessing. It's the "do-it-all-in-one-skill" button. Well, except it has no healing. But, it does PBAoE damage, KD/interrupt, with almost unlimited energy, all by itself. Plus, you don't get to choose - all the skills are set and given to you.)

Once you're lvl20, you are in the section of the game where the Elite skills will be captured. Start capping them! Make some new builds. Put together a team, whether PUG or H&H, and take on the lvl24+ mobs!

The "advantage" you have, despite the lower lvl, is that you can adjust your build, and have (usually) more skills at your disposal than the PvE mobs have.

And, screw it - just have fun! Try out some obscure skills just because you want to see what you can do with it. It's fun!

Work for ANet? LOL I guess you haven't seen me posting in the "Please don't keep killing our game!" threads!

If you keep doing "repeated run", then, yeah, you might get bored. Some people love farming. (Some people will also pay $15/month to farm ore in certain games, so what the heck - to each their own!) As long as you're finding the game fun, that's all that matters.

What I like most about GW is that there is a lvl-cap at lvl 20.....
After that it is about capping the skills you want to have and getting to the location where you can cap them.
The game just starts when you get to lvl20 from there there is so much to do....follow the story-line...explore the world around you....travel from campain to campain....and most of all....have fun
I think the biggest problem ppl have when they start playing GW is the fact they can not let go the feeling your toon has to gain lvl's....the numbers have to add up. But if you let go of that feeling, getting the prestige armor or skills you want is also a way of lvl-ing and imo a better way of lvl-ing your toon.
So throw away your idea of lvl-ing and enjoy the game. It is a mighty big world out there (i.e. I got to lvl 70 in WOW in about 5 months and by that time I had seen all of the world but in GW after about 4 months I have not seen more than 30% of it.)
I know there are ppl that are saying GW is dead, to those ppl it can be true because they have been playing for about three years now but for a new player there is so much to discover it will keep you addicted for months to come.

Note: I am a casual player, have a guild with two members (The Dutch Loners - TDL), most of the time I play this game with my wife just like we played WOW. So don't hit on me with GW not having an endgame-content unlike WOW or other games. This is an personal opinion, just to let you see there is so much more after reaching lvl20. IMO GW is a great game and I will be playing it for months/years to come......

BTW: forgive my typo's.......I am dutch, tired after a nightshift so english becomes becomes a bit harder for me ;-)

PS: do not go Ursan, perfect your build.....it is much more fun IMO

If you were a lvl 20 party fighting lvl 30 in pvp then yes your right lvl 20 is the end of the road and you would be outmatched much of the time.

PVE is mostly easy once you work out a good general stratergy and equip your party well.

You are usually choosing when and where to fight you also get to choose your targets.
Learn who in a mob is causeing most problems.
I total the Monks and ritualists first then other spellcasters Elementalist Necro and Mesmer.
Finally the warrior types.

If its going wrong run and come back, your the general directing the battle learn to retreat when needed then heal and res then refight.
If you can split the enemy then do so and kill them piecemeal
